Joe’s Place IC

Joe's Place is looking for outgoing, reliable servers to keep up with the fast-paced bar scene and keep the party rolling for guests. You'll be the main point of contact for guests seated in one or more of our three indoor seating areas, beer garden, and/or rooftop patio.

JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for taking and running drink orders accurately across the venue- no food!

Maintain cleanliness of seating areas and service stations

Communicate with guests and staff members to ensure smooth, speedy service

Handle cash and card transactions with Aloha POS

Serve responsibly following alcohol and tobacco laws

Keep the energy flowing - you curate the vibes!

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18+ years old

Night and weekend availability are a must

Active (or willingness to acquire) Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training

Joe's Place is looking for reliable, friendly staff to keep the night flowing smoothly while ensuring a safe and fun atmosphere for our guests!

Duties:

Greet and check ID's of guests at the door, ensure only of-age guests enter the venue

Monitor the crowd throughout the night

Handle minor conflicts quickly and professionally, enforcing company policies and laws to prevent unsafe behavior

Communicate effectively with other staff to ensure a safe and efficient atmosphere

Be a visible, approachable presence to ensure guests feel safe and welcome

Requirements:

18+ years of age

Strong communication skills and ability to be a calm presence in a chaotic environment

Nights and Weekends are a must

Active (or willing to acquire) Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training
